Gina has been a physical therapist since 1998. Her professional path has been varied and interesting—from working with the Junior National Speed Skating team to blazing a trail in canine rehabilitation. But it was after making her first home health visit in 2001 that she found her true calling—caring for the elderly in their homes.

She has been the Director of Rehabilitation for a large home health agency as well as several assisted living and memory care communities in the Atlanta area. Gina understands the complexities that arise with patients in this population, possessing not only the clinical skills to recognize unmet needs, advocate for services, and liaise with the medical team but also the compassion and empathy to guide families through these situations. Gina finds great joy in working with people with dementia. Her calm patience and ability to teach care partners how to interact with their loved ones has brought meaning and fulfillment to many families.

While her professional experience may have led her to become a care manager associate, Gina believes it is her personal experience caring for her own father that prepared her for this role. Living the caregiver role herself, Gina understands the joys and challenges of caring for a loved one and feels it is an honor to help others navigate this journey.

Gina approaches all aspects of her life with a servant heart. Whether volunteering with a local hospice, providing disaster relief in Haiti, or raising money for special needs dogs with her quilling artwork, she never shies from an opportunity to give back to her community.
She loves cooking big Italian meals for her family, travelling with her husband of over twenty years, and walking with her rescue dog Ziggy.
